The Sacrament of Confirmation is the sacrament with which you receive the power from the Holy Spirit, to make you stronger in your faith, to carry the gift of faith out in you life. It strengthes the bond between you and Jesus Christ.
Most often it is admitted to children, but adults can also receive this sacrament. For children, just like with the First Holy Communion, you will be prepared through a series of gatherings with other children of your age. The Sacrament of Confirmation is given in a communal Mass with all other children combined.
Adults often follow individual sessions of catechesis and receive the sacrament likewise.
